�鶹��ý�� Program Overview

Post-Residency:

Global Health Scholars Program: Aims to train future hospitalist-leaders for careers in resource-limited and underserved settings. Physician scholars will pursue a total of six months of international work, in combination with six months at Anschutz.

Advanced Hospital Medicine Clinical Scholars Program: A one-year physician scholars program to provide expertise in point-of-care ultrasound, advanced evidence-based medicine, Bayesian reasoning in clinical decision making, and medical education.

Administrative Scholars Program: A two-year scholars program that provides individuals the opportunity to choose their own adventure in what they want to accomplish and learn in Hospital Medicine. The overarching goal is to prepare physicians to step into leadership roles that require an understanding of and ability to manage the complex financial, operational, and regulatory challenges in U.S. healthcare today.

Fellowship in Quality Improvement and Health Systems Leadership: This fellowship is designed to provide excellent training, mentorship, and exposure for physicians to emerge from the program capable of leading change in complex healthcare systems.

Fellowship in Translational or Outcomes Research: A two-year fellowship to provide existing or new physician faculty with the building blocks to conduct clinical translational or outcomes research. The Division of Hospital Medicine fellowship has partnered with the SCORE fellowship for this track.

Post-Graduate:

Resident Hospitalist Training Program (HTP): Provides a comprehensive and innovative preparation for residents seeking careers as hospitalists or hospital-based specialists, with a focus on the clinical skills required for hospitalist practice (procedural, ultrasound, consultation, oncology, palliative care); development of skills needed to embark upon systems improvement, intensive mentorship, and building of a supportive (and fun!) community.

Advanced Practice Fellowship (APF): A 13-month program dedicated to enhancing the development of Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants interested in pursuing a career in hospital-based medicine, specifically to provide the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for a provider to succeed in the challenging world of acute care medicine.
