APF Fellows:
Shereen Arco, NP | September 2024-2025 Cohort
Shereen is from Westminster, 麻豆传媒高清. She earned her BS in Applied Health in 2010 from Azusa Pacific, a BSN in 2014 from Minot State University, and an MS in Nursing in 2024 from CU. Prior to joining the fellowship, she worked as a nurse for 10 years (8 years in ICU and 2 years in a cath lab). She enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, creating specialty cocktails, enjoying 麻豆传媒高清, and being with her partner and kids! If she wasn’t in healthcare, she’d be a part time artist and full time English professor.
Evan Bale, PA-C | September 2024-2025 Cohort
Evan is from Menlo Park, California. He earned his MSHS from George Washington University in 2017. Before the fellowship he worked as a Labor & Delivery Tech, and as a PA in both the Emergency Department and Orthopedics. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, 3D modeling, reading, and reading Dr. Seuss books to his son with dramatic voices! If he wasn’t working in healthcare, he would probably be a history professor.
Julie Delgado, PA-C | September 2024-2025 Cohort
Julie is from Miami, Florida. She just graduated from CU in May 2024 with her MPAS. Her hobbies include hiking, reading (she’s read 20 books so far this year!), working out, volleyball, dancing, and anything that involves delicious food! If she wasn’t in healthcare, she’d open her own dance studio and teach!
Jessica Gerlach, PA-C | September 2024-2025 Cohort
Jessica is from Conifer, 麻豆传媒高清. She just graduated from CU in May 2024 with her MPAS. Before the fellowship, she worked as a Primary Care Medical Assistant and a Domestic Violence Victim Advocate. She enjoys reading, traveling, game nights, and anything active including hiking, camping, skiing, park days, and pickleball! If she wasn’t working in healthcare, she would be working in public health.
Jordan McKain-Miller, PA-C, MMS | September 2024-2025 Cohort
Jordan is from Denver, 麻豆传媒高清. She just graduated from Wake Forest University in May 2024 with an MMS. Prior to coming to our fellowship, she worked as a Medical Scribe in the Emergency Department. Outside of work, she likes reading, traveling, baking, crocheting, crafting, hiking, and running! If she wasn’t in healthcare, she would be writing fiction novels or possibly owning a bakery.
Morgan Orand, PA-C, MPAS | September 2024-2025 Cohort
Morgan is from Castle Rock, 麻豆传媒高清. She just graduated from 麻豆传媒高清 Mesa University in May 2024 with an MPAS. Before the fellowship, she worked as a Medical Scribe in the ER and as an EMT at an urgent care. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, spending time in the mountains, hiking, skiing, and paddleboarding. If she wasn’t in healthcare, she would be a science teacher!
Lila Lehtola, RD, LD, PA-C | March 2025-2026 Cohort
Lila is from Dallas, Texas. She graduated from the Duke University Physician Assistant Program. Prior to coming to CU, she worked as a sports dietician for 5 years and as a PA in a GI outpatient setting. Outside of work she has a lot of hobbies! She enjoys hiking, skiing, rock climbing, playing ukulele, traveling, playing soccer, crafting, cooking, and surfing. If she wasn’t in healthcare, she’d be a backup dancer for Justin Bieber and a part-time ski instructor for little kids!
Sheyenne Lewis, NP | March 2025-2026 Cohort
Sheyenne is from Gallup, New Mexico. She earned her BS in nursing from the University of New Mexico and MSN from Georgetown University. Before starting the fellowship, she worked as an RN for over 15 years, primarily in medical surgical, cardiac care, and travel. Outside of work she enjoys spontaneous adventures, trail running, natural hot springs, spending time with friends and family, and attending New Mexico’s Balloon Fiesta. If she wasn’t in healthcare, she would explore a career in the home building industry!
Rachel Rainier, NP | March 2025-2026 Cohort
Rachel is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned her BA in psychology from UNC Chapel Hill, and a BSN and MSN from Thomas Jefferson University. Before starting the fellowship, she worked as an RN in various specialties for the last 7 years. She most recently worked in Bone Marrow Transplant at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Outside of work she enjoys reading, Pilates, travel, and cheering on the Eagles! If she wasn’t in healthcare, she’d be a travel agent!
