Membership for medical students is free.
Alliances of the AUR include AMSER (Alliance of Medical Student Educators in Radiology) and A3CR2 (American Alliance of Academic Chief Residents in Radiology) which is the association of the chief residents for the Diagnostic Radiology Residencies across the country. Membership in AUR for students is free.
The CRS holds monthly meetings in the Denver area that include one or more guest lecturers and dinner. Fees associated with the meetings are deeply discounted for students.
Membership in the RSNA and admission to the RSNA annual meeting is free for students. There is also a new resource, the RSNA Clerkship Companion which has medical information and radiological images for numerous diagnoses and conditions students will encounter during their clinical clerkships.
The Society of Interventional Radiology offers student membership and admission to the annual meeting at deeply discounted rates. SIR also has a mentor program for students interested in Interventional Radiology.
