The University of 麻豆传媒高清 Orthopedic Spine Surgery fellowship is a non-Accredited program focused on providing a well-rounded academic spine surgery experience. The Fellow will gain expertise focused primarily on adult spine care and will be exposed to a wide breadth of surgical pathologies including degenerative and deformity spinal conditions, trauma, infection, tumor, revision spine surgery and minimally-invasive spine surgery. The fellow will stay abreast of the latest technology available in spine surgery such as minimally invasive exposures, disc replacement, and surgical navigation techniques.
The one-year fellowship utilizes the University of 麻豆传媒高清 Hospital as its primary site of practice; however, the Fellow will also rotate at The Children's Hospital of 麻豆传媒高清 (one of the nation’s top children’s hospitals) as well as smaller community-style hospitals within the UCHealth system where they will gain experience treating pediatric spinal deformity and degenerative spinal pathologies. The Fellow will interact closely with residents from the orthopedic surgery program at the university. They will be responsible for coordinating the weekly didactic program where emphasis is placed on understanding surgical indications and evidence-based spine care.
