• Conversation with senior faculty about career accomplishments and professional goals.
• Opportunity to ask questions and receive support from the DOM in preparation for promotion.
• Discuss which promotion series is the right fit for your career goals.
• Receive actionable and specific recommendations to help progress towards promotion.

• Assistant Professors due for Mid-Course Review (MCR) prepare and submit a MCR dossier via Interfolio by May 31st. 
• Each dossier is reviewed by 2-3 members of the Mid-Course Review Committee.
• A 30-minute virtual meeting is scheduled in June, July, or August with the Assistant Professor and committee members to discuss feedback.
• A summary letter with recommendations will be issued to the Assistant Professor and their Division Head by the end of September.

The MCR dossier includes five required documents that must be uploaded and submitted in Interfolio by May 31st. 

MCR Dossier:

1. One narrative in your area of excellence (3 pages max). See narrative description here.
   1. Clinical Narrative
   2. Teaching Narrative
   3. Research Narrative
2. One matrix in your area of excellence
   1. Clinical Matrix
   2. Teaching Matrix
   3. Research Matrix
3. A list of names of 3 external and 3 internal potential letter writers for letters of reference. Actual letters of references are not needed and will not be requested.
4. Current CV using the SOM CV format
5. SWOT Analysis

A letter of support from the Division Head will also be included in the dossier and the DOM Faculty Development Office will request this on your behalf.
