Meet our T32 Primary Investigators
We utilize a multi-PI format, emphasizing collaboration across our division. PI responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that all trainees have the appropriate education, training, qualifications and are eligible to participate on the project
- Ensuring financial, administrative, training policies, and regulations are followed
- Confirming all paid positions are correctly budgeted in the proposal and included within the budget narrative
- Verifying and appropriate research integrity measures are followed

- Coordination, integration, and assume responsibility for implementation of the program
- Integration of T32 with the PSCCM fellowship training program
- Integration of T32 with other T32 training programs on campus, CU Medical Scientist Training Program and Physician Scientist Training Program, School of Medicine supported by the program to Advance Physician-Scientists and Transitional Research, External Advisory Committee, and National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute

- Co-lead the T32 Internal Advisory Committee with Dr. Maier
- Serve as a direct liaison to the 麻豆传媒高清 Clinical and Translational Science Institute
- Assist Trainees in identifying their appropriate mentors and research programs

Irina Petrache

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment and selection of MD and MD/PhD candidates to T32
- Integrate T32 with the Division Chiefs of all training sites (CU, NJH, VAMC, and DH) to identify and leverage training opportunities for mentors and mentees at affiliate sites
- Participate in national meetings, including the ATS international conference, to identify and implement innovative approaches to training the next generation of leaders of academic medicine

- Co-lead the T32 Internal Advisory Committee with Dr. Burnham

- Oversee the recruitment and appointment of potential PhD candidates to the T32 Training Program
